India's 2026 Traffic Fines: The Numbers Every Driver Should Memorise

From 1 January 2026, five traffic violations in a year can get your licence suspended for three months.
Drunk driving is ₹10,000 (first offence); no PUC certificate is ₹10,000; riding without a helmet is ₹1,000 plus a 3-month DL disqualification.
