June 2026 has just one near-nationwide closure: Muharram on Friday, June 26.

Muharram, the 4th Saturday and Sunday stack into a June 26-28 bank long weekend.

Odisha shuts for three days for Raja Parba (June 14-16), a monsoon and womanhood festival.

Most other June dates are state-specific: Maharana Pratap, Kabir Jayanti, Punjab and Mizoram days.

Yoga Day (June 21) and Nirjala Ekadashi (June 25) are observances, not days off.
