Person of the Day: Hima Das, the Dhing Express Who Made History

Hima Das won 400m gold at the 2018 World U20 Championships — India's first-ever track gold at a world meet.

She holds India's 400m national record at 50.79 seconds, set at the 2018 Asian Games.

In July 2019 she won five gold medals across Europe in just 19 days.

She is a DSP in Assam Police and UNICEF India's first-ever Youth Ambassador.

Nicknamed the 'Dhing Express', she started out playing football in Assam's rice fields.
