The Day Your Shadow Vanishes: India's Zero Shadow Day
For a few minutes at solar noon, vertical objects in much of India cast no shadow at all.
It happens twice a year, only in places between the Tropic of Cancer and the equator.
Bengaluru and Chennai see it around April 24-25 and August 18; Hyderabad May 9 and August 5.
The exact date depends on your latitude — the Sun must sit directly overhead.
