Every citizen aged 70+ qualifies — income, tax status and assets don't matter.

Cover is ₹5 lakh a year, cashless, with pre-existing illness paid from day one.

If the family is already in PM-JAY, the 70+ member gets a separate ₹5 lakh on top.

Enrol free via the Ayushman App face-auth eKYC or beneficiary.nha.gov.in.

It only pays at empanelled hospitals, so confirm the hospital before admission.
