Impact Player Rule: Why Rohit and Dhoni Want It Scrapped

Each team names an XI plus five subs and can swap in one Impact Player mid-match — but only at four set moments.
The player taken off is done for the day: no batting, bowling or fielding afterwards.
Start with four overseas players and your Impact Player must be Indian, capping foreign muscle at five.
It effectively gives sides 12 players, which is why scores of 250 and chases of 260 stopped feeling freakish.
