Updating Your Aadhaar Address Online in 2026: The Free Window Just Got Longer

Free online document update (PoI/PoA) on myAadhaar is now extended to 14 June 2027

At physical Aadhaar centres the same document update still costs ₹75

Changing to a genuinely new address is a demographic update and carries a fee online (around ₹50)

Biometrics, mobile number and photo can only be changed in person — never fully online

You need a working registered mobile number for the OTP; without it you must visit a centre
